Au carrefour des influences climatiques des Alpes et de la Méditerranée s’étendant sur 185 000 hectares, de Cavaillon (Vaucluse) à Lurs (Alpes de Haute-Provence), de part et d’autre de la montagne du Luberon (1 125 m au Mourre Nègre). Il abrite une faune et une flore d’une exceptionnelle diversité, ainsi qu’un patrimoine architectural et paysager de grande valeur.

At the crossroads of the climatic influences of the Alps and the Mediterranean extending over 185,000 hectares, from Cavaillon (Vaucluse) to Lurs (Alpes de Haute-Provence), on both sides of the Luberon mountain (1,125 m above sea level Mourre Negro). It is home to an exceptionally diverse fauna and flora, as well as an architectural and landscape heritage of great value.
